Every once in a while, you come across a love story that overpowers all other childhood affairs. Such is the story of our lovely couple. Ruchit and Krupa have been friends forever. But, they never knew that this crushing over each other would turn into a lifelong journey bound together. Krupa tells us about how they came across the right moment where they thought that they were meant for each other. From growing up together to studying together they grew organically fond of each other. It was in Berkeley, London where Ruchit asked her out and Krupa couldn’t say a no to the dreamy marriage proposal. What a gratifying moment it must have been! That was the moment when they planned their miraculous Abu Dhabi Wedding which we’ll take you through.
Ruchit and Krupa wanted a fusion of both the beach and the regal palace wedding. So, they wanted their family and guests to experience an international wedding of its kind. The entire saga was planned and executed by the luxury destination wedding planner, Kkings and Swaha wedding management and co.
The stunning ballroom of the 7 star Emirates Palace hotel was ornamented and spangled by, Izhaar by core designs. Ranging from the quirky bohemian themed decor to all things multicolored and blushy, this top wedding planners gave in their best to make this wedding an irresistible sight to be.
And, to capture all this into an unforgettable tale, Reels and frames, one of the best wedding photographers in Mumbai, snapped and secured each moment beautifully. Kkings in collaboration with Reels & frames also planned a bridal shower event and a couple pre-wedding shoot. They made sure that everything went hand in hand as planned.
The gala started with the “Bohemian Mehendi Souk” a modern take on the Indian bridal Mehendi ceremony abundant with colors of love and happiness. Krupa’s Mehendi ceremony dress by Sabyasachi
was a wonderful jewel in itself. Her floral green lehenga with coral choli & golden gotta patti lace was color coordinated by Ruchit’s Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla kurta set.
Amid the blossomy and fresh flower decoration, the guests dined together with appetizing food, fresh drinks, and the exclusive Turkish ice cream. The best part of the event was the photo booth where the guests could get their pictures clicked with the hunting falcons.
Followed by the grand bridal Mehendi ceremony was the “UMRAO NIGHT”. The couple celebrated their relationship as they set the ambiance with soulful music and mesmerized it with Umrao night.
The bride and groom outfits were inspired and designed keeping in mind the Arabic theme. Krupa’s opulent look in golden- maroon bridal sharara was sufficed by her accessories which included a “passa”, traditional maangtika & heavy gold earrings.
Amidst a group of graceful Arabic dancers, the bride and groom entry was a grand affair. Shayari, dance, classical music and magic was all that this fascinating night was made of.
Another photo booth session with a unique adventure of the snake-touch was a spine-chilling highlight of one of its kinds, for the guests.
The intricately detailed event, all running through a theme, ranged from the designer outfits of the couple to the star performance by Shadab Faridi. Everything was well thought and carefully planned.
The next on the list for this Abu Dhabi wedding which set the tone for a flavorful brunch which was outlined at the luxurious Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. Themed with tropical elements like flamingos, pineapples, miniatures of Ferris wheel and other details made this party all things ‘aloha’.
An array of stunning looks were presented through the outfits that the couple adorned, with Shubhika’s Papa don’t preach unicorn inspired gown for Krupa and Govinda Mehta’s outfit for the groom. The upbeat music by DJ Aman Nagpal made the surroundings all crazy go happy.
In the traditional Mameru function, the bride’s maternal uncle(mamaji) bestows the couple with blessings. Followed by the ceremony were “Kankotri Lakhan”, “Chunri Chadavanu” and “Garba Night” which further added to the celebrations of this Abu Dhabi wedding.
Surrounded by the whimsical decorative floral elements and pastel hues the couple exchanged their wedding vows at the Emirate Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi. The baraat started from the palace and the couple got married at the beach wedding venue.
To get the baraat grooving, yet again, DJ Aman Nagpal set the tempo right! And, to set the energy flowing, DJ Chetas and Atif Aslam added their soulful beats amidst the celebration.
While the music tone set its beat at this incredible Abu Dhabi wedding, Krupa made an elegant come through with her Kresha Bajaj designer bridal lehenga, under the authentic “phoolon ki chadar”. The bridal entry songs enhanced the entire vibe.
The groom entry was no less than splendid. Ruchit entered the palace in a Rolls Royce in a traditional Sabhyasachi Sherwani along with an entourage of cars. The joyous friends and family continued the festive vibe and welcomed the couple, by raising pastel colored balloons up in the air.
Inaugurating the end of the Mystical Celebrations at this wedding, while entering together as Mr. and Mrs. Mehta for the first time, the newlywed walked in together hand-in-hand. Their ultimate outfits by Manish Malhotra for Krupa and by Gaurav Gupta for Ruchit was a show-stopping glance. The cliff-top destination wedding came to an end with a new beginning altogether!
