One of the wedding fads which is taking a toll on all of us is that of color-coordinated wedding outfits of millennial couples. No stone is left unturned when it comes to curating the outfits for the bride and groom. Their wedding and pre-wedding attire are meticulously fabricated to match the decor hues and each other!
Bhavika’s and Angad’s Mumbai wedding was no exception when it came to the coordination game. A grand wedding that celebrated their love with a series of breathtaking events, Bhavika’s and Angads’s nuptials were a feast for the eyes. They made a statement as a couple through their mesmerizing sartorial elegance and their color coordinated outfits. All of them were tailored diligently reflecting their discrete style and at the same time illustrated their togetherness.
Bhavika and Angad represent a perfect example of how your outfits can be in sync with your significant other and still scream “YOU”. You can still pick out your favorite individualistic styles and coordinate your outfits- wearing similar colors, opting for the same fabric, or choosing a color combination that goes together. If you find the concept of wearing the same-colored outfits way too cheesy, you can always choose different hues from the same color palette or go with a similar hue but incorporate them uniquely.
Presently, wedding couples are spotted thoughtfully coordinating their outfits with event decor and themes as well. Although, we recommend you make sure to play around with the colors smartly so that your outfits and decor elements don’t end up camouflaging each other.
So let us take you through Bhavika’s and Angad’s wedding ceremonies where every aspect of celebrations reflected the duo’s elegant taste with classic yet unique themes.
In the grand and imperial setting of Taj Palace, our bride Bhavika swayed hearts with her blush pink off-shoulder lehenga which was embodied with intricate silver embroidery and lace details. The designer- Kresha Bajaj sure did a tremendous job in curating a princessly attire. Angad’s designer, Nivedita Saboo was no less. She groomed Angad in a glossy subtle suit in copper hues to match with the bride and a maroon turban that added the much needed pop. His outfit was perfectly complementing Bhavika’s attire and reflecting their cutesy unification.
Fancy Hors D’ oeuvres and imported drinks being served in every corner of Sahara Star, Bhavika’s and Angad’s cocktail party was a huge success. Suneet Varma tailored a head- turner lehenga for our bride. Featuring a shimmery ice blue lehenga with intricate sequin embroidery teamed up with a laborious glass beaded blouse made her look sassy and chic. Nivedita Saboo also ingeniously incorporated the shimmer element in Angad’s classic suit to accord with his bride’s outfit.
Bhavika’s arms and feet blossomed with intricate henna designs along with her bewitching outfit. Displaying an unrivaled level of craftsmanship, her sharara suit by Rimple and Harpreet Narula constituted numerous elements like sequences, zari craft, silver embroidery, and teamed up with a georgette pastel pink dupatta. The glam quotient sored further high with a dewy shimmery makeup look. However, the most eye-grabbing detail was how Bhavika and Angad perfectly color-coordinated their outfits in pastel green and pink. Featuring a pastel pink kurta pajama by Nivedita Saboo that was block printed olive green and paired with similar hued Nehru jacket gave Angad an unparalleled look.
Finally the auspicious day of wedding arrived! And what’s a better place to mark the first step of the new journey of togetherness than a holy sanctum like Gurdwara. Our quintessential bride adorned the traditional ‘Solah Shringar’. Decked in a red statement Sabyasachi lehenga embellished with rich gold embroidery, Bhavika made for a ravishing bride. She further accentuated her beautiful ensemble with layers of fine kundan jewelery. Angad’s minimalist yet magnificent velvet sherwani and red turban harmonized with the bride’s attire and made the day of their nuptials more special.
Angad and Bhavika made their first public appearance as a married couple at their grand reception party held at Sahara Star. For this event, the bride opted for a beguiling red mermaid cut gown detailed with wine hued embellishments and complemented by a jeweled headband. Angad on the other hand sported a contrasting black velvet suit blazer with a reflective hint of red and shimmer studded lapel. Nivedita Saboo did a prodigious job in curating these outfits for the bride and groom.
