Angels are born in heaven they say. Certainly we haven’t seen them. But there are two angels who were born on earth and yes, we have seen them. Robert and Annie, a wonderful couple is an example that in such selfish world of today, there are people like them who believe in selfless service. The couple running a “un-orphanage” orphanage houses 21 children who were abandoned either because they were “specially-abled” or were born from un-wedded mothers. They gave a ray of hope to such children.

The children who are abandoned are taken to their home (a caring world) by the couple. “Its not an orphanage. It’s a home” says Robert with a happy contented voice. He adds “we are their mother and father and we live like any other happy family around.” The couple raises the kids with all the love and care. The children go to schools, celebrate festivals together and blow candles on their birthdays! The children are made capable enough to learn to stand on their own feet and help make this world a better place. “Angel’s home” has children as old as 19 years and as young as 1.5 years.

Christmas and New Year is the time that brings bundle of hopes, joy and happiness in everyone’s life. It marks a celebration of togetherness. Making merry by pouring and clinging glasses of champagne is too cliché. Instead try spreading smiles and happiness in these children’s lives. A simple act of yours might make this new year of these children a happy one.

Any act done with good intentions is a support enough for Angel’s Home. Folks! Let’s bring smiles on these innocent faces this festival and see your soul getting contented. Let’s contribute Annie and Robert in their noble cause by helping them financially, bringing children some gifts or even by giving them a new set of clothes knit with love. You can also help them build a better future for themselves by providing them good education. Providing books and bags is the least tiny act that can be done to tell them how important they are to this world!
The couple has been taking care of “their” children since past 15+ years and trust us “Angel’s home” must be the happiest place of all filled with the laughter of these innocents and blessings of God!
WedAbout supports Annie and Robert and welcomes you all to aid the couple in any way possible to you.
