Weddings are all about decorations, lights, dance, music and entertainment. And when it comes to a celebrity’s wedding, a lot of cameras, poses and clicks too!!

‘Badtameez dil’ singer Benny Dayal who is a famous voice behind many other hit songs like ‘Bang Bang’,’Locha-E-ulfat’  and ‘Lat lag gayi’, got hitched this Sunday, June 5 in Bangalore. He married his love, model-actress Catherine Thangam in a private ceremony.

The Sangeet

A wedding is incomplete without a Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony. Yes, the bride Catherine with Mehendi on her hands and the groom Benny complementing her, looked like made for each other. It was planned as Moroccan themed Mehendi ceremony at Temple Tree Leisure.

The Wedding Dress-Simple and Elegant

The bride Catherine looked like a fairy on this occasion. She flaunted  a nude colored Saree by Sabyasachi on her big day while Benny complemented her attire with a white dhoti-kurta. The wedding was a three-day ceremony – the Sangeet, the marriage and an after party for the couple to begin their “happily married” life.

The wedding was classic and the clothes were color coded in white and gold matching the decor. The entire occasion was organised very gracefully as per the taste of groom and bride.

The beautiful model- actress looked stunning with very light makeup and jewellery. Her heavy golden neckline and sindoor on her forehead completed her elegant look.

The wedding followed both the Hindu and Christian rituals and customs. Many Bollywood stars like A R Rehman, Vishal Dadlani, Neeti Mohan embraced the ceremony with their presence to bless the couple on their “D” Day.

Though the wedding was a secret affair, the couple is planning to have their grand reception in Kerala soon. Hope to see them soon.
