Jab Mayank met Sakshi
Both of their parents had been friends for a long time. After introducing them to each other, like a typical Indian parent, their fathers were hoping that they would marry. Organically they grew fond of each other. From being friends to lovers, they eventually realized that they were meant for each other. It was in Nepal where Mayank set up a fanciful marriage proposal to which Sakshi said a yes. Being aware of each other’s preferences, they ended up tying the wedding knot through an exquisite Bali destination wedding.

For this, effulgent Bali destination wedding, a lucid planning team was needed. As a blessing in disguise, came the best wedding planners in Bali, Innaz Communique, and Inayat Khubchandan. From setting the hues and colors for the events in peach and pink to understanding the Bride’s love for silver and blue, the team catered all their needs.

To deck up the entire destination, Butterfly event styling understood the couple’s vision perfectly. To complement the Bali wedding decorations, Savleen Manchanda was the Bridal makeup artist who gave her an elegant look for each wedding event.

A sneak-peak into the Punjabi wedding functions
Bohemian themed ‘Welcome Dinner’
Sakshi and Mayank had very minimalist yet royal wedding decorations at their welcome dinner. With the view of giving a vibe to each wedding event, Butterfly Event Styling left no stone upturned to impart that magical vibe to this Bali Destination wedding.
With rustic theme wedding decorations, it gave an intricate and elegant vibe to this Bali destination wedding where each event was celebrated in an exotic way. They incorporated the use of Bohemian elements like crochet, leaves, pineapples and twig work along with light pastel color theme which made the evening memorable for the wedding guests.
The captivating Mehendi ceremony Decoration
Even though Sakshi and Mayank were not really fond of beaches, they knew that their guests would love to have a wedding event by the beach. The Mehendi function of this Bali destination wedding was therefore hosted at Roosterfish Beach Club. It is one of the best family-friendly beach clubs in Bali. Introduced by Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort and Spa, the beach club is ten minutes away from the venue.
The venue for Mehendi ceremony had spectacular beach view and therefore austere decor worked like magic. An off-white Kurta by Varun Bahl augmented Sakshi’s pink outfit by Arpita Mehta. The wedding decorators, Butterfly Event Styling, refrained from using much decor elements which resulted in the natural scenarios with a wonderful Mehendi setup in Bali.
Fun Cocktail Party
The Punjabi cocktail party at this Bali destination wedding of Sakshi and Mayank was an absolute stunner. The party decorations were made using twigs, branches, leaves and fairy lights. With the scintillating fairy lights, their photographs were captured beautifully by Shutterdown Photography.
As the cocktail is famous for being Punjabis’ favorite wedding event, the couple had a Punjabi band perform at the function. The wedding guests had their best time at this Bali destination wedding with lots of drinks and dance. Going well with the theme were the couple’s cocktail party outfits. On one hand, Sakshi was dolled up in a grey gown by Shantanu and Nikhil. In addition, were her diamonds which glowed up her entire look. The other hand was Mayank who was draped in a Varun Bahl jodhpuri set.
The ethereal Bali Destination wedding ceremony
Sparkling in the Sabyasachi’s royal Indian wedding dresses, both Mayank and Sakshi made all heads turn on their wedding day. The pheras were planned at the dawn by the Bali wedding planners, Innaz Communique which made the whole event a mesmerizing affair.
To bring out the theme of soft romance, decorative floral elements, drapes, and chandeliers were used. The color combination of peach, pink and white along with the decor elements exuded an opulent and formal theme to the whole wedding. To give it a glam, both Sakshi and Mayank were adorned beautifully in Sabyasachi apparels. With cream and golden bridal lehenga and cream colored sherwani for the groom, the stage for Bali Destination wedding looked even more glamorous.
The most thrilling thing about this whole Bali destination wedding was the unexpected occurrence of the earthquake during the ceremony! Although scary at the time of the wedding ceremony, in retrospect the whole event appears hilarious to the family.
